Gaza Olive Tree Project
Palestine: divided and broken
Years of conflict and blockades has left Palestine with the highest unemployment rate in the world. People are struggling every day with the most basic of necessities including food, clothing, shelter and healthcare.
Families are struggling to put food on the table and maintain some sort of shelter over their heads, but with very limited job opportunities available there seems no hope in sight. In 2018 52% of the Gaza population was unemployed, up from 44% in 2017.
As the years pass, life has got increasingly difficult for the Palestinian people, but there are ways that we can help. We have created a programme to help people escape the vicious cycle of poverty and lead their families to a brighter future.
Gaza olive tree project
We are helping people come to terms with poverty and unemployment by providing them the means to lead themselves out of hardship. Our olive tree farms offer the people of Gaza to grow their own olives and not rely on handouts to support their families. Olive trees live for hundreds of years and can generate income for generations to come.
You can help the people of Palestine with as little as one olive tree which will generate many litres of oil for the farmer who can sell this to provide for their families.
How you can help
Please give what you can, and we can make sure that the people of Palestine have a bright future to look forward to.
